Neurodivergent Baddies Club: Blog

FAB & AFAB present the Neurodivergent Baddies Club blog addition!
As two late-diagnosed neurodivergent individuals, Tavi and Abby created an online support group for Black, neurodivergent, and/or queers to find a safe community with like-minded people.
Through personal experience and research, they have realized the challenges people who are diagnosed under the neurodivergent umbrella face in an attempt to cultivate a long-lasting community that is rooted in kindness, openness, non-judgment, and mutual respect.
Whether it be due to sensory issues, emotional sensitivity, physical and mental health challenges, special interests, or being expected to engage in neurotypical ways, Tavi and Abby have acknowledged the need for spaces where neurodivergent individuals can comfortably exist without judgment or shame.
The Neurodivergent Baddies Club support group invites community members who experience hardships due to their individual diagnoses, providing them with leadership, support, a space to share their testimonies, and resources.
Additionally, co-admins Tavi and Abby look forward to facilitating community events such as online Gratitude Circles and in-person meetups to continue growing the community beyond the digital space.
The Neurodivergent Baddies blog will build on the work provided in the support group and community.
The blog will publish monthly posts that offer readers insight into neurodivergent people's personal perspectives. The blog will also offer educational insights into the neurodivergent experience, along with advice and resources to help the community find groundedness and success in daily life.
The goal is to continue destigmatizing neurodivergence by educating our readers, cultivating community, and providing the necessary support needed for all neurodivergent baddies to THRIVE.
If you or anyone you know falls under the neurodivergent umbrella and is seeking out genuine community, you have found the right place.
